Wellness vaccinations for dogs, cats, and rabbits help to keep your pet healthy and disease free.

In-hospital digital radiology allows us to see diagnostic images within seconds. We are able to show x-rays right in the exam room to better explain our findings.

We have a selection of in-house laboratory testing with fast turn-around, such as: bloodwork, heartworm tests, urinalysis, and fecals. We also use an external lab for more in-depth diagnostics.

Pets at every stage of life need veterinary care, this is especially true for senior pets. We are pleased to discuss your pet's senior care needs and preventative planning. 

We love our small friends as well! Rabbits, guinea pigs, rats, gerbils, and hamsters are welcomed!

We also offer the rabbit hemorrhagic disease vaccine (RDHV) for current patients.

To improve access to after-hours veterinary care, we have teamed up with a Canadian telemedicine service called Smart.Vet. The Smart.Vet RVTs can ascertain the level of care your pet requires, and will then facilitate scheduling a telemedicine appointment with one of their licensed Ontario-based veterinarians.  If your pet requires in-person intervention, the RVT can assist by making arrangements for your pet to be transferred for physical care when appropriate. 

We offer a variety of routine surgeries such as spay and neuters, soft tissue surgeries, and some more advanced surgeries in our surgical suite. Monitoring equipment is used on every patient and we always strive for the very best experience.

We offer complete dental care including thorough oral exams, dental x-rays for us to better assess the teeth under the gumline, cleaning, polishing, and tooth extractions if they are needed. Routine dentals are a great way to keep your pets mouth healthy.

Is your pet showing a concerning behaviour? From anxiety to aggression we can help guide you through the steps to achieve results as well as recommend behaviour consultants, when needed.

We understand that losing a pet is a difficult time for the entire family and we are honoured to provide support and guidance throughout the process. 

We offer communal and private cremation services through Gateway Pet Memorial.
